School Bank

School Bank:

With the long summer break fast approaching, why not make the most of the school’s bank and encourage your children to save some pennies for their free time in July and August? Your child can deposit a small (or large) amount on a regular basis and it is a great opportunity to teach your child about saving for the long term. The Moat House School Bank is open every Tuesday morning from 8:40 am. If you require any further information about this, please speak to the school office.

On Tuesday 12th September, the Moat House School Bank will be open again for anyone who wishes to make a deposit or a withdrawal. Many of our children have now opened accounts and are saving hard for things like spending money for their holidays or Christmas presents. If your child would like to begin saving using the School Bank, please complete an application form and bring your first deposit along to the bank, which is open every Tuesday morning at 8:40 am. Forms are available from the school office.

Just a reminder that the Moat House School Bank is open every Tuesday morning from 8:40 am until 9:10 am. With Spring just around the corner, it is the perfect opportunity for children to save their pennies for the summer holidays. There is no minimum amount that can be deposited and we find that children enjoy to watch their pennies grow into pounds. We are keen to encourage our children to learn and develop good financial habits to support them in later life. If your child would like to open an account with the school bank, forms can be collected from the school office.

Moat House School Bank

Last year, we opened a school bank in order to encourage our children to grow up with good financial habits, for example, if children wish to save money for a holiday.

The Coventry Credit Union enables us to set up this bank and this is linked with St Chad’s outreach bank (Hillmorton Road, CV2 1FY). Please see the information below giving details of how the school bank works.

If you have any questions about the Moat House School Bank, please speak to either Miss Collins,    Miss Farrington or Mrs Gardner (who will be running the bank each week).
